Warranty Policy

 

Our warranty policy:

We want you to be satisfied with the products you order from us.
For every purchase you receive a One-Year Warranty on all items in our online store SiMeg-Electronics.be (unless stated otherwise).
The warranty is only valid on hardware.
It is always possible to extend the warranty to 2 years at a competitive price of 37 euros VAT included.

When does the warranty start?

The warranty always starts from the date of purchase. 

You can claim the warranty if :

Your product is not good or does not work properly.
There is a defect that occurred through no fault of yours and that has nothing to do with the software.
Warranty requests must be reported within the warranty period by specifying the order number and serial number in an e-mail and sending it to…….
Guarantees only run through store SiMeg-Electronics.be and can therefore not be carried out by third parties without the permission of store SiMeg-Electronics.be
If problems arise after the warranty period, we will of course do our best to offer a solution.

Warranty Claim

Before the product is shipped, the applicant is requested to contact us via e-mail and write a description of the defect including clear color photos of the front, back and edges of the product in the attachment of the email.
After verification of order and serial number and validation of the images, SiMeg-Electronics.be will send a confirmation to return the product.
Upon receipt of the product, the functionality of the product will be tested and the warranty application will be confirmed or denied. The applicant is then informed by e-mail whether the warranty application has been approved or denied.

The warranty is not accepted, we inform you about the reasons and the item is returned to you.
Otherwise, in case the guarantee is approved the e-mail contains possible alternative solutions proposed by SiMeg-Electronics.be
1-In case of a damaged product or a defective product (function), we first try to repair the product.
2-If the damage or defect is not repairable, we will offer you a replacement equivalent product.
3-After a repair or replacement, the warranty period continues from the date of original purchase.
4-If options 1 and 2 do not offer a suitable solution, we will refund the purchase price to you.

What is not covered by the warranty:

-Damage or user traces as a result of incorrect use of the product.
Parts affected by wear and tear due to use of the product.
Products of which the damage or defect was known before you bought it.
-The product has been repaired or tampered with by a third party without the seller's consent.
-Products that you return without prior notice.
-Products whose serial number has been deleted or changed.
-The warranty does not cover physical damage, damage or malfunction resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, misapplication, improper installation, improper maintenance and power supply, interference from or with other electronic products, alteration, improper modification, firmware error or bios error.
-Damage caused by software installation not approved by the manufacturer or damage due to exposure to water is not covered by the warranty.
-The warranty also excludes aesthetic damage resulting from normal wear and tear of the product (for example: signs of wear on the buttons, housing or screen), wear and tear of individual parts (for example: batteries), or damage incurred during transport or resulting in the event of force majeure or a natural disaster.
-No warranty is offered on products in the "Sale" menu. Unless you request this by contacting us in the contact form by sending us a request for warranty placement as well as the article number of the relevant product. This can be done against an additional fee paid by you that varies in each case according to the type of article.
-Batteries and software are not covered by warranty.
Our batteries have been tested and are in good working order.
In most cases, we provide information about the battery condition in the product description in case the battery is not in good condition.

Otherwise, if this information is missing, it means the battery varies from two to four hours of work in battery mode and this means that the battery is in a state of 60-80%
You can always contact us for a new battery with a free installation service, up to 25% discount if you have created an account with us. You can do this afterwards.
-Moisture damage or fall damage:
-Keyboard damage due to abuse, moisture or food residue damage. Unfortunately, this is more common, we often find out. That is why we have excluded this from our warranty policy.

-When repairs are carried out by third parties, or adjustments are made yourself, the warranty expires.

How do I send my package:

You can only return the package after the notification is known to us.
Unfortunately, the shipping costs are for you, even if you have a warranty on the product.Sending the item to us and delivery of the item after repair, will be paid by the buyer.
Please pack the product firmly before shipping, you can hand it in at a Post location. It is important that you state an order number and briefly describe the problem of the defective device.
This is possible at Post locations (€6.75)* or DHL service points (€5.75)*.

Not satisfied with the solution?

We recommend that you first make complaints known to us by emailing info@simeg.be If this does not lead to a solution, it is possible to register your dispute for mediation via Stichting WebwinkelKeur. From 15 February 2016, it is also possible for consumers in the EU to register complaints via the ODR platform of the European Commission. This ODR platform can be found at http://ec.europa.eu/odr . If your complaint is not yet being processed elsewhere, you are free to deposit your complaint via the platform of the European Union.
